Following the success of our last event, which brought together over 250 registered participants from academia and industry, the Spatial Omics Network Basel is holding its next symposium on Friday, September 11th, 2026  in the Maurice E. Müller Hall at the Biozentrum in Basel. This symposium has become a key local forum for the Spatial Omics community in Basel. This interactive full-day event will bring together researchers, technology developers, and students interested in the development and application of Spatial Omics technologies. The event will feature scientific presentations from academic and industry groups across the Basel area, including contributions from the University of Basel (Biozentrum, DBM, IOB), ETH (D-BSSE), Roche, Novartis, FMI, and BIIE. The symposium is free of charge and is organised by the Basel Spatial Omics Network.

Scientific program (full-day)

  • Keynote presentation
  • Selected and invited talks from Basel-based researchers (academic institutions and pharma)
  • Presentations of Spatial Omics technologies from local core facilities
